LCRP Newsletter 08/29/2022

Chairman's Message
Good Monday Everyone.

Our party had a very profitable week reaching out to voters with our booth at the annual county fair. Many thanks to Wellington Area Chair for leading this effort in which all our areas participated.

Thanks to our candidates and elected officials who attended. Lawn signs and literature were provided for interested fair attendees. The highlight of our fair participation was the visit of Governor Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran. A cooperative effort by the Governor's campaign staff, the Fair Board, Lorain County deputies, and our county GOP staff, made their visit safe and unobstructed. I was truly overwhelmed by the response of the general public who wanted to greet and speak to the Governor and have their pictures taken with him. Getting him to our booth was not easy and took a while to do so. Needless to say, the Governor and First Lady enjoyed the expressions of support and best wishes. All this speaks volumesto me of the general public's regard for Governor Mike DeWine and his administration and their desire to re-elect him this November. It is my belief that if voters turnout to vote for the top of our Republican ticket, they will also vote for the rest of our candidates.

Over the past three weeks, Michele and I had the pleasure of hosting our ten year old grandson Temo who had just moved to Tacoma, Washington where his Dad is posted. The highlights were the visits to three Ohio presidential homes and museums; President Rutherford Hayes, Fremont, President James Garfield, Mentor, and President Warren Harding, Marion, all Republicans. Please visit these and learn more of our Republican predecessors and their achievements.

I look forward to seeing you at Tom's Country Place this Wednesday to greet Congressmen Jim Jordan and Bob Latta. There's time to sign up ASAP since tickets will not be available at the door.

Best wishes,
David Arredondo, Executive Chairman
